English Home Tuition is us – Diane and James Newberry.
Diane is the tutor, TEFL-qualified, with a university degree in English Language and Literature and a previous career background in nursing.
James runs his own business and helps out in a non-teaching way when he is around. In addition, we have two, nearly grown-up daughters living with us – and a very friendly, small dog called Daisy (a Cavalier King Charles spaniel).
We live in a little place called Chartham near the village green. Dating back to Anglo-Saxon times, Chartham has an historic 13th century church, pub, shop, paper mill, and a community centre; it is just 10 minutes drive or 5 minutes on the train from the centre of historic Canterbury.
