Chartham is well located for students travelling to the UK by air, train, or road. We are only 20 minutes by train or car from Ashford International train station with its links to France, Belgium and beyond via Eurostar and the Channel Tunnel. The Channel Tunnel itself and the ferry port of Dover are only 30-40 minutes away by car. London Gatwick is the closest major airport - 1 hour 15 minutes by car and about two hours on the train. London Heathrow and London Stansted airports are also feasible.
Chartham has its own rail station that is five minutes’ walk from us, with easy access to Canterbury (one stop and five minutes away), and with direct links to London (from 1 hour 26 minutes). Starting December 2009, rail travel times to London will be cut to 1 hour from Canterbury.
